Pushpavana Charitable Trust was founded in 2014 by Pushpa, who had been a donor to various charity organizations. When the previous owner of one such charity passed away due to kidney failure, and there were discussions to shut down the charity altogether, Pushpa stepped up to continue the work, focusing on helping differently-abled people. Since then, Pushpavana has grown from supporting 18 individuals to 28 adults aged 30-75 years and now houses 25 adults. These residents, rescued from police stations after being found on the streets, now have a place they can call home.
